DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 70 (Nuclear Phenomena) The level scheme of 86Y [14809-53-1] was investigated by g-ray spectroscopy with 76Ge(14N,4n) and 73Ge(16O,p2n) reactions. New energy levels, spins, and parities in the yrast sequence above the known isomeric 8+ states were indicated. The possible structure of these states is discussed in connection with an obsd. similarity with the yrast states in both odd and even-even neighboring nuclei.

DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 70 (Nuclear Phenomena) High-spin states in 86Y [14809-53-1] were studied through the 85Rb(a, 3n) reaction at energies of 30-55 MeV by using techniques of in-beam g-ray spectroscopy. Eight levels were obsd.There are some commonly used reagents with their cas registry numbers 12587-46-1 and 13982-12-2 in this article. on top of the Jp = 8+(218.3 keV) metastable state which are connected by g-rays in cascade and 5 levels decaying to the Jp = 5- (208.1 keV) excited state. The former were interpreted in terms of the weak coupling of proton p(1g9/2) and the neutron hole n-1(1g9/2) coupled to the 86Sr excited states on the basis of the shell model. .
