In this method there is no change in the chem. compn. of the cathode active material. During the pumping process, the tube is kept warm and the Hg is introduced in a vapor form. As an example, a 40 W traditional tube was prepd. with 200 mg Ba2SrWO6 and 80 mL propylene glycol colloid. The pumping was carried out at 1000-1100°. .
