The administration of these 3 drugs in combination produced a significant and potentiated inhibition of Shay ulcers. The efficacy of these drugs against ulcers induced by various means was demonstrated.

However, the coadministration of Mg trisilicate [14987-04-3] with I decreased its absorption, as indicated by the increased urinary excretion of 11-hydroxycorticosteroids. The decrease in absorption was attributed to drug adsorption on the antacid surface. These results confirm previous in vitro findings.
