DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 33 (Carbohydrates) Addn. of a slight excess of 2-chlorophenyl O,O-bis[1-benzotriazolyl] phosphate to a 2',5'-protected ribonucleoside gave an intermediate 3'-phosphotriester, which, after addn. of a 2'-protected ribonucleoside, afforded a dimer contg. only a 3'-5'-internucleotide bond. The above phosphorylation procedure was used in the synthesis of the pentamer UpApCpGpC. .
