Simple, Rapid, and Sensitive Spectrofluorometric Determination of Zaleplon in Micellar Medium
Simple, Rapid, and Sensitive Spectrofluorometric Determination of Zaleplon in Micellar Medium. Tang, Bo; Wang, Xu; Jia, Baoxiu; Niu, Jinye; Wei, Ying; Chen, Zhenzhen; Wang, Yan (Chemical Engineering and Materials Science, College of Chemistry, Shandong Normal University, Jinan, Peop. Rep. China). Analytical Letters, 36(14), 2985-2997 (English) 2003 Marcel Dekker, Inc. CODEN: ANALBP. ISSN: 0003-2719. DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 1 (Pharmacology) Section cross-reference(s): 64 The influence of micellar medium on the absorption, fluorescent excitation and emission spectra character of Zaleplon was studied. Some commonly used reagents like 151319-34-5 and 9002-93-1 are used in this experiment. The nonionic surfactant of Triton X-100 showed a strong sensitizing effect for the fluorescence of Zaleplon in a pH 5.0 buffer. The possible enhancement mechanism is discussed. Based on the optimum conditions, a simple, rapid, sensitive and selective spectrofluorometric method (lex/lem = 345/455 nm) was developed for the detn. of Zaleplon. The linear range was 1.32 ′ 10-8-1.00 ′ 10-5 mol/L. The detection limit was 4.0 ′ 10-9 mol/L with an relative std. deviation of 0.06%. The proposed method was successfully applied to the detn. of Zaleplon in tablets, serum and urine. .
Controlled release of hypnotic agents
All Rights Reserved. Controlled release of hypnotic agents. Chiang, Chin-Chih; Chang, Ting-Wei (USA ). U.S. Pat. 151319-34-5 and 82626-48-0 are cas registry numbers. These chemicals are also mentioned in this article. Appl. Publ. US 2007020333 A1 25 Jan 2007,7pp. (English). (United States of America). CODEN: USXXCO. INCL: 424468000; 514373000. APPLICATION: US 2005-186348 20 Jul 2005. DOCUMENT TYPE: Patent CA Section: 63 (Pharmaceuticals) The application relates to the controlled release of a hypnotic agent with extended release profiles. The pharmaceutical compn. and processes for manufg., and methods of using the controlled release formulation are provided. E.g., a delayed release element contained Zaleplon, Gelucire, and Na alginate, and an immediate release element contained Zaleplon and Vitamin E TPGS. .
