DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 1 (Pharmacology) Seven flavonoids, injected i.p. to rats, at 30 min prior to the s.c. carrageenan injection, gave various degrees of protection against edema formation. The most effective protectants were fisetin [528-48-3] (10-50 mg/kg), luteolin [491-70-3] (50-150 mg/kg), sophoricoside [152-95-4] (10-50 mg/kg), and procyanidine (10-50 mg/kg).
