DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 78 (Inorganic Chemicals and Reactions) Section cross-reference(s): 69, 75 The existence of Hg2(HgI4) or HgHgI3 is controversial. Samples that were prepd. by pptn. were studied using DSC at 0.1 MPa-0.9 GPa. Both the temps. 15385-57-6 and 7774-29-0 which are cas registry numbers of substances are two of reagents here. and enthalpies of transition coincided practically with the data measured previously for HgI2. The prepd. samples are not Hg2(HgI4) but heterogeneous mixts. of Hg2I2 and HgI2. .

At very low temps. In this experiment, several chemicals are used like 15385-57-6 and 15385-58-7 , a two-phase region exists for concns. of Hg2Br2 of 15-90 mol%. .
