- Lifetimes of yrast states in titanium-51, titanium-52, and vanadium-52
- Lifetimes of yrast states in titanium-51, titanium-52, and vanadium-52. Brown, B. A.; Fossan, D. B.; Poletti, A. R.; Warburton, E. K. (State Univ. New York, Stony Brook, N. Y., USA). Phys. Rev. C, 14(3), 1016-22 (English) 1976. CODEN: PRVCAN. DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 70 (Nuclear Phenomena) The 6Li [14258-72-1] and 7Li [13982-05-3] bombardment of 48Ca [13981-76-5] in conjunction with recoil distance measurements was used to measure the mean lifetimes of excited states in 51Ti [15459-31-1], 52Ti [15749-40-3], and 52V [14681-50-6]: in 51Ti, 2754-keV level (.tau. = 1.2 .+-. 0.4 nsec) and 2344-keV level (.tau. = 13.9 .+-. 2.3 psec); in 52Ti, 3027-keV level (.tau. = 36.7 .+-. 6.3 psec); in 52V, 2541-keV level (.tau. = 7.7 .+-. 0.5 psec). The .gamma.-ray decay schemes and lifetimes are consistent with an interpretation involving yrast states of the (.pi.1f7/2)n .times. (.nu.2p3/2,1f5/2,2p1/2)m configuration where n = 2 or 3 and m = 1 or 2. The exptl. level energies and B(E2) values are compared with shell model calcns.
- Lifetime measurements in calcium-49 and titanium-51
- Lifetime measurements in calcium-49 and titanium-51. Taccetti, N.; Mando, P. A.; Sona, P.; Lieb, K. P. (Dip. Fis., Univ. Firenze, Firenze 50125, Italy). J. Phys. 15459-31-1 and 14092-95-6 which are cas registry numbers are also used here. G: Nucl. Phys., 13(3), 393-403 (English) 1987. CODEN: JPHGBM. ISSN: 0305-4616. DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 70 (Nuclear Phenomena) Levels in 49Ca [15124-81-9] and 51Ti [15459-31-1] were populated via the 48Ca(d,p)49Ca and 50Ti(d,p)51Ti reactions at 6 MeV bombarding energy. Two sets of particle-g-ray coincidences were recorded simultaneously between each of 2 Si detectors and a Ge detector. Mean lifetimes or lifetime limits were measured by the Doppler shift attenuation method for 8 levels in 49Ca and 9 levels in 51Ti. An extended decay scheme of excited levels in 51Ti was established up to 3.7 MeV. The lifetimes of several states in 41Ca [14092-95-6] and 49Ti [14304-92-8] were also measured. .
