Human poison by ingestion. Experimental poison by ingestion. Moderately toxic experimentally by skin contact. Human systemic effects by ingestion: weakness, respiratory changes, diarrhea, gastrointestinal disturbances, tremors, convulsions, coma, and death. Used as an insecticide. Flammable when exposed to heat or flame. To fight fire, use CO2, mist, spray, foam. When heated to decomposition it emits toxic fumes of NOx.
