DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 5 (Agrochemical Bioregulators) The antifeedant activity of 6,7-dimethoxyisochroman-3-one [16135-41-4], is reported against the castor semilooper. The antifeedant activity was tested employing the leaf-disk bioassay against 4th instar prestarved larvae. The compd. had appreciable antifeedant activity at 2% concn. As the concn. decreased, there was a proportionate decrease in the feeding inhibitory activity. The compd. did not exhibit repellent or toxic properties.
