DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 5 (Agrochemical Bioregulators) The toxic effects of the hormonal acaricide Flumite (active ingredient fluphenzine, 200 g/L) on egg-laying females of the spider mite Tetranychus atlanticus were studied. Flumite neither killed the egg-laying females nor decreased their fertility, but had toxic effects on the eggs. The acaricide had no repellent action on the females, but they produced 100, 95, 51, 41, and 34% dead eggs at 1, 3, 5, 7, and 10 days after the fluphenzine treatment, resp. The acaricide had no toxic after-effects on the F2 progeny of the treated females. .
