The theor. calcn. and expts. both proved that poly(diphenylbisquinoxalinephenylene) had good hydrolytic stability while poly(oxydianilinepyromellitimide) [25036-53-7] completely hydrolyzed under the same exptl. condition. The mechanism of hydrolysis was also predicted.
