Disodium fumarate (CAS NO.17013-01-3) is used for the food industry flavoring agent, polyester resin, mordant, and raw materials for adhesives and other products.
It derived from Fumaric acid by sodium carbonate. Water heated to boiling, stirring by adding fumaric acid. Fractionated by adding sodium carbonate to pH = 6.5-6.7. Stir while hot filtration, have anti-sodium 2-butene.
