In blood at all times except 4 h postinjection, the concn. of pantogam-1-14C was greater than that of GABA-1-14C. Max. brain levels of pantogam were reached in 30 min; those of GABA in 1 h. Pantogam was primarily accumulated by the cerebellum; GABA by the cerebrum. Pantogam was absorbed from the injection site more rapidly and was metabolized to a lesser extent than GABA.

Apparently, I is not teratogenic.
