C. linariifolia contains a new anthragallol 2-methyl ether 3-glycoside and C. rotundifolia a rubiadin 3-glycoside. A minor anthraquinone of C. lucida previously considered (Briggs, L. H.; Nicholls, G. A., 1949, 1953) to be soranjidiol was identified as lucidin. Scopoletin was isolated from the barks of a no. of Coprosma species. .
