- Modification of wool
- Modification of wool. Sadova, S. F.; Korchagin, M. V.; Kazakova, E. O. (Moscow Textile Institute, USSR). U.S.S.R. SU 553317 5 Apr 1977 From: Otkrytiya, Izobret., Prom. Obraztsy, Tovarnye Znaki 1977, 54(13), 107. (Russian). (Union of Soviet Socialist Republics). CODEN: URXXAF. CLASS: IC: D06M003-08. APPLICATION: SU 75-2149257 27 Jun 1975. DOCUMENT TYPE: Patent CA Section: 39 (Textiles) Grafting of wool with vinyl monomers in the presence of a H2SO4 soln. of V2O5 was improved by first reducing the wool using as a reducing agent ascorbic acid [50-81-7], Rongalite [149-44-0], thioglycolic acid [68-11-1], thiourea dioxide [1758-73-2], or Na hydrosulfite [7775-14-6].
- Evaluation of formamidine sulfinic acid and other reducing agents for use in the preparation of technetium-99m labeled radiopharmaceuticals
- Evaluation of formamidine sulfinic acid and other reducing agents for use in the preparation of technetium-99m labeled radiopharmaceuticals. Fritzberg, A. R.; Lyster, D. M.; Dolphin, D. H. (Vancouver Gen. Hosp., Vancouver, B. C., Can.). J. Nucl. Med., 18(6), 553-7 (English) 1977. CODEN: JNMEAQ. DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 63 (Pharmaceuticals) Various reducing agents were evaluated for their usefulness in the prepn. of 99Tcm- labeled radiopharmaceuticals in nuclear medicine. Adequate labeling was accomplished by using formamidinesulfinic acid [1758-73-2]. N-purgin of solns. was not required, an advantage for in-house prepn. Tagging requires heating, however, so heat-labile material cannot be used. Compds. that could not be labeled when Sn2Cl was used, were tagged with 99Tcm using formamidinesulfinic acid as the reducing agent.
