The extreme pressure additives improved the anticorrosion properties of the oil contg. no anticorrosion additives. The anticorrosion properties of the oil contg. the corrosion inhibitors and the extreme pressure additives were similar to those obsd. in the absence of the extreme pressure additives. The antiwear properties of the oil contg. the extreme pressure additives were not affected by the presence of the corrosion inhibitors. The extreme pressure properties of the oil contg. the extreme pressure additives were deteriorated by the presence of the corrosion inhibitors.
