Results on perfluorocarbon background concentrations in Austria
Results on perfluorocarbon background concentrations in Austria. Piringer, Martin; Baumann, Kathrin; Rotzer, Harald; Riesing, Johann; Nodop, Katrin (Central Inst. for Meteorology and Geodynamics, Vienna, Austria). Atmospheric Environment, Volume Date 1997, 31(4), 515-527 (English) 1996 Elsevier. CODEN: AENVEQ. ISSN: 1352-2310. DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 59 (Air Pollution and Industrial Hygiene) Results of Perfluorocarbon background concns. in Austria are presented, which were taken at the beginning of 1994 in prepn. for the European Tracer Expt. ETEX. Two very different weather regimes, a mild westerly current and a continental spell with easterly air flow, were chosen to comprise a variety of weather situations. 145984-79-8 which is the cas registry number of some chemical is mentioned. The concns. (perfluoromethylcyclohexane, perfluoromethylcyclopentane, perfluorodimethylcyclohexane, perfluorodimethylcyclobutane, and perfluorotrimethylcyclohexane) obtained are generally higher than those from prior expts., but there is no systematic dependence on meteorol. parameters; slightly higher values have been obtained during easterly flow for all components measured. .
