Some of their cas registry numbers are 492-18-2 and 54327-10-5 Alternately, 50 mg was ignited in an O flask contg. H2O and satd. aq. Br, excess Br removed, and the soln. was dild. with pH 2.2 HBr. Aliquots were mixed with N KBr, pH 2.2 HBr, and 0.5% methyl green [54327-10-5], extd. with C6H6, and the absorbance of the ext. was detd. at 605 nm. Recoveries were 99.3-100.2% by both methods. Theophylline in Salyrgan injections does not interfere. .
