DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 1 (Pharmacodynamics) The structural elucidation of several unidentified metabolites of 1-butyryl-4-cinnamylpiperazine (I) in mice and guinea pigs was made by the ion cluster technique. A single dose of 100 mg/kg of an equimolar mixt.In this article, certain chemicals are used. One of their cas registry numbers is 18903-01-0 (I:I-d5) of 1-butyryl-4-(cinnamyl-arom.-d5) piperazine (I-d5) hydrochloride and I hydrochloride was injected s.c. into animals. After the administration of I:I-d5 the urine was collected for 24 h. The possible structures of the unidentified metabolites in urine were elucidated as 1-butyryl-4-(3-methoxy-4-hydroxycinnamyl)piperazine [61682-75-5], 1-(3-hydroxybutyryl)-4-cinnamylpiperazine [61682-76-6] or 1-(4-hydroxybutyryl)-4-cinnamylpiperazine [61682-77-7], and 1-(3-hydroxybutyryl)-4-(4-hydroxycinnamyl)piperazine [61682-78-8] or 1-(4-hydroxybutyryl)-4-(4-hydroxycinnamyl)piperazine [61682-79-9]. Unchanged I, 1-butyryl-4-(4-hydroxycinnamyl)piperazine [53478-37-8], 1-cinnamylpiperazine [18903-01-0], and 1-(4-hydroxycinnamyl)piperazine [39918-91-7], which had been identified by the inverse isotope diln. anal., were also detected by this technique. .
