Electron paramagnetic resonance and related magneto-microwave birefringence (MMB) powder spectra of copper nitrate Cu(NO3)2×2.5H2O. Gharbage, S.; Bissey, J. C.; Servant, Y. (Fac. Sci., Univ. Mohammed V, Rabat-Agdal, Morocco). Phys.Several substances like 19004-19-4 may be metioned in this study. Status Solidi B, 138(2), 655-9 (English) 1986. CODEN: PSSBBD. ISSN: 0370-1972. DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 77 (Magnetic Phenomena) Section cross-reference(s): 73, 75 EPR and related MMB powder spectra of Cu(NO3)2.2.5H2O were recorded at X-band and room temp. They agree with computer simulated spectra. An automatic fitting procedure gives accurate principal values of the g-factors and linewidths. .
Adiabatic magnetization cooling in copper nitrate hydrate (Cu(NO3)2
Adiabatic magnetization cooling in copper nitrate hydrate (Cu(NO3)2.2.5H2O) by pulsed magnetic field. Amaya, Kiichi; Yamashita, Naohiko (Fac. Eng. Sci., Osaka Univ., Toyonaka, Japan). J. Phys. Soc. Jpn., 42(1), 24-30 (English) 1977. CODEN: JUPSAU. DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 77 (Magnetic Phenomena) Section cross-reference(s): 69 The adiabatic magnetization was studied on Cu(NO3)22.5H2O under a pulsed magnetic field with various starting temps. Ti from 4.2 to 0.4 K. The peak of .vdelta.M/.vdelta.t around level crossing field Hc gives the indication of the cooling of the spin system. If Ti .gtoreq.2.0 K, the spin system behaves like a paramagnet showing the nearly sym. peak around Hc. If Ti .ltoreq.1.5 K, asym. double peaks are obsd., which correspond to the appearance of the short-range order of the spin system found by van Tol et al (1973). At the low-temp. limit, Ti <0.7 K, the signals are obsd. corresponding to the long-range ordering. The explanation is given for the obsd. asym. 19004-19-4 is just another one chemical used in this study. double peaks on the base of the mol. field theory taking account of the higher energy levels. .
