Chemistry Letters, (12), 1041-1042 (English) 1996 Nippon Kagakkai. CODEN: CMLTAG. ISSN: 0366-7022. DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 24 (Alicyclic Compounds) a,b-Unsatd. ketones are cyclodimerized by the catalysis of lanthanoid tri-2-propoxides into substituted cyclohexanones in good yields. In this experiment, several chemicals are used like 6742-69-4 The catalytic activity of the lanthanoids is fairly superior to those of the Na or Al propoxides. .
Triisopropoxyl neodymium/PMMA hybrid materials prepared by the non-water gel in-situ polymerization
Triisopropoxyl neodymium/PMMA hybrid materials prepared by the non-water gel in-situ polymerization. Lin, Meijuan; Zhang, Wengong; Wang, Wen (Institute of Polymer Science, Fujian Teachers University, Fuzhou 350007, Peop. Rep. China). Gaofenzi Xuebao, (5), 613-617 (Chinese) 2002 Kexue Chubanshe. CODEN: GAXUE9. ISSN: 1000-3304. DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 37 (Plastics Manufacture and Processing) It is firstly reported that after the rapid formation of a gel by mixing of the MMA and neodymium triisopropoxide, the PMMA hybrid materials contg. neodymium Nd(x)/PMMA were prepd. by the in-situ polymn. It has been characterized by FT-IR, TG, XWAD, DMTA, SEM etc, which indicated that there is coordination interaction between neodymium (III) ion and carboxide (C=O) in the PMMA and the resulting crosslink network structure in the PMMA hybrid materials. The Nd/PMMA materials could not dissolve but only could swell in most good solvents of PMMA. The introduction of triisopropoxyl neodymium could improve the heat resistance and toughness of PMMA. Dynamical mech. thermal anal. 19236-15-8 and 9011-14-7 which are cas registry numbers of chemicals are mentioned. shown that storage modulus (E') of Nd/PMMA materials increased and glass transition temp. (Tg) decreased with increasing Nd content. Moreover, the prepn. method of the non-water gel in-situ polymn. overcome the assocn. of rare earth ions in the materials, and results in formation of the triisopropoxyl neodymium/PMMA hybrid materials with high rare earth content and uniform distribution. .
