DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 51 (Fossil Fuels, Derivatives, and Related Products) In the flotation of coal breeze, the consumption of methyltriisopropoxysilane [5581-67-9] was lower by a factor of 1.5 than that of dibutoxymethane [2568-90-3] or amyl butyrate [540-18-1]. At consumption rate of 350 g/ton of coal for the 3 agents, the recovery of combustibles was higher by 5.2 wt.% for the silane than for the remaining compds. Org. Si compds. contg. N are less suitable as flotation agents than Si compds. contg. O. 4669-59-4 and 2049-96-9 which are cas registry numbers of substances are two of reagents here. Mixts. of siloxanes and kerosine increased the recovery of combustibles by 0.7-3.7 wt.%. .
