Different methods of detg. dielec. characteristics of PVC composites are compared, with the composites differing in specimen form, shaped as plaques and single cable, and differing in the electrode system. The range of elec. resistivity for differently colored plasticized PVC is from 2,9 up to 11,4 TW.m (at 27°C), and the range of dielec. permittivity is from 2,6 up to 3,4 (at 20 °C and 1 kHz). Compounding and phase behavior of poly(vinyl chloride) composites with dioctyl phthalate and pigments is detd. by measuring dielec. permittivity. The correlation of measured values and the compn., and temp. are detd. The content of the plasticizer and filler has a marked influence on all properties. The plasticizer shifts the relaxation spectrum to lower temps., and the pigments to higher ones. Measurements according to stds. in one point are not sufficient to det. the behavior of the colored composite. The relaxation spectrum should be detd. in a wide temp. 10174-28-4 and 215247-95-3 are just another two chemicals used in this study. and frequency range. .
