It also can be called Butanoic acid, 3-oxo-, 2-((1,3-dioxobutoxy)methyl)-2-ethyl-1,3-propanediyl ester ; Acetoacetic acid, triester with 2-ethyl-2-(hydroxymethyl)-1,3-propanediol ; and 1,3-Propanediol, 2-ethyl-2-(hydroxymethyl)-, triacetoacetate . 2-Ethyl-2-(hydroxymethyl)-1,3-propanediol triacetoacetate (CAS NO.22208-25-9) is a trifunctional crosslinker with reactive methylene groups for adhesives, sealants or coatings and a curative for waterborne coating systems. Furthermore it acts as catalyst for amine based epoxy hardeners.
