Most T. mentagrophytes conidia were killed within 24 h, and those of T. ajelloi and M. gypseum within 48 h.. M. canis macroconidia were sensitive to I, but the killing rate was significantly slower. In contrast to tolnaftate [2398-96-1], I appeared unique regarding sporicidal efficacy.
