Pretreatment with anapriline [318-98-9] (4 mg/kg) did not potentiate the ability of Na2EDTA [139-33-3] (100 mg/kg) to decrease strophanthin toxicity. Pretreatment with isadrine [7683-59-2] (8 mg/kg completely eliminated the effect of Na2 EDTA. Immunization of cats with homocardial antigen had a biphosic effect on the sensitivity to the toxic effects of strophanthin dependent on the duration of antigenic stimulation.
