The S compds. could not be sepd. by a column packed with 5% SP-1200 [72067-03-9] and 1.75% Bentone 34 [1340-69-8] at 80°, and Me3N and Et3N could not be sepd. by using a column packed with 15% diglycerol [59113-36-9], 5% TEP [107-49-3], and 2% NaOH at 70°.

The 2nd column was 2 m long and filled with Spherochrom contg. 1,2,3-tris(2-cyanoethoxy)propane [2465-93-2]. The chromatog. was conducted at 120° with 30 mL/min N carrier gas flow; it required ~20 min.
