These effluents contain ~1.5 g/L of total solids, of which 4-10 mg/L is ferrocyanide. When KCN (0.1-0.2 mg/L) is added to these photog. processing effluents, much of the CN- addn. disappears within 1-2 days. The effects of CH2O [50-00-0], ferrocyanide, hydroquinone [123-31-9], methylaminophenol sulfate [55-55-0], CD-3 [25646-71-3], hydroxylamine sulfate [10039-54-0], and SO32- on CN- instability were studied.
