Thus, 120 g polypropylene glycol ether with pentaerythritol was treated with maleic anhydride 58.8, diethylene glycol 64, coconut oil fatty acid 40, and phthalic anhydride 76 g to give 344 g yellow, viscous oil. Wool (100 kg) was immersed in a bath contg. 1500 g 80% HOAc and 2500 g prepn. consisting of oil 15, 1:1 coconut oil fatty acid N,N-bis(2-hydroxyethyl)amide-triethylene glycol lauryl ether sulfate bis(2-hydroxyethyl)amine salt [36468-16-3] mixt. 15, polyethylene glycol 2-ethylhexyl ether [26468-86-0] 15, 30% NaOH, and water 52%. After 10 min, 1000 g 1:2 Cr complexes of the dyes I and II were added. The wool was dyed an olive green color with good fastness to abrasion and wet processing.
