The catalyst systems used were a) TiCl4/Et3Al, b) p-allylnickel halides [(p-C3H5NiX)2, where X = Cl [12145-00-5], X = Br [12012-90-7], or X = I [12145-06-1]], and c) NiCl2 [7718-54-9]/Et3Al. The mol. structures were detd. by NMR, IR, and mass spectroscopy and discussed in terms of the polymn. of alkoxyallenes and other substituted allenes.
