The viability of the spores was diminished 15-62% by Tergitol 4 [139-88-8], sodium lauryl sulfate [151-21-3], or triethanolamine oleate [2717-15-9] as compared with control spores in distd. water or physiol. saline. All wetting agents increased spore dispersion, which was facilitated by sonic and hand agitation of the suspensions.
