DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 73 (Optical, Electron, and Mass Spectroscopy and Other Related Properties) A systematic study of several classes of org. mols. in liq. solvents was performed to survey candidates suitable as saturable absorbers at 193 nm. Materials with appropriate optical properties would serve the essential function of optical isolation in the implementation of high-energy picosecond ArF* laser systems. Twenty-three mol. systems were found which exhibit appropriate satn.In this experiment, several chemicals are used like 120-80-9 and 2719-52-0 behavior at practical fluences. The properties of these systems, including solvent effects, are discussed. .
