A propene trimer chloride [65155-47-7] was prepd. by heating a propene trimer [13987-01-4], HCl, and hexadecyldimethyl ammonium chloride surfactant. DBP instead of B showed gelation after storage at 40° for 3 h followed by storage at 40° for 1 day. .
