Eusolex 6300 (I) [36861-47-9] alone or in combination with Eusolex 161 (II) [37891-88-6] or Eusolex 232 (III) [27503-81-7] were analyzed by TLC. After extn. by column chromatog. with CHCl3-MeOH () giving the best results, toluene-CHCl3-AcOH (:1) was used for development of the plates. Only I was quant. detd.; II and III were only slightly sol. or barely altered by the procedure. The other components of the prepns. contg. the sunscreens did not interfere with the detns.
