2-Ethylthiomethylphenyl N-methylcarbamate (CAS NO.29973-13-5) is an effective and low toxic residue carbamate insecticide within absorbent. It has a good control effect for the prevention for aphids, beetles, vegetable moths, cockroaches, mosquitoes, etc. andcould control of each of aphids on fruit trees, vegetables, potatoes, beet, tobacco and other crops. It is more effective for organophosphate resistant aphids with a long residual period of limitations.
With phenol as raw materials, using step-pressure synthesis to get the intermediate o-Ethylthio-methyl phenol , then with Methyl isocyanate to obtain 2-Ethylthiomethylphenyl N-methylcarbamate (CAS NO.29973-13-5) .
