These compds. in an ethanolic ext. of Chin Pie (the bark of F. chinensis) can be easily sepd. 524-30-1 and 531-75-9 which are cas registry numbers are also used here. on an ODS column (25 cm ′ 5 mm) with MeOH-H2O-AcOH (:0.4) as eluant. Std. curves were linear in the range 1.02-4.08, 0.612-2.45, 0.159-0.636 and 0.067-0.268 mg for the 4 compds., resp. The proposed method is simple, rapid and more sensitive than the TLC-densitometric method. The relative std. deviation was 2.4%. .
