After extn. with Me2CO and solvent partitioning, I and II are cleaned up by column chromatog. with Florisil and a mixt. of charcoal and Celite, resp., and quantified by gas chromatog. with flame photometric or flame thermionic detection. Detection limits of I and II were 0.001 and 0.05 ppm, resp., and recoveries >90 and >80%, resp. Half-lives on and in kidney bean plants of I, Dymex [18853-26-4] and fenitrothion [122-14-5] were 5, 2, and 1 days, resp., and those in a sandy loam soil 18, 5, and 10 days, resp.
