Histidylleucine [7763-65-7], glycylhistidine [2489-13-6], and histidine [71-00-1] had no such effect.

The methods use Eosine Y and Zn(II) (as ZnSO4.H2O) and do not require prior hydrolysis. Results from the spectrophotometric method were in good agreement with expected values but major discrepancies were obsd. between expected and gravimetric results. .
