Specification

The IUPAC name of Fluoroacetanilide is 2-fluoro-N-phenylacetamide . With the CAS Registry Number 330-68-7, it is also named as 2-Fluoro-N-phenylacetamide ; 2-Fluoroacetanilide ; 4-12-00-00377 (Beilstein Handbook Reference) ; AFL 1082 ; Anilid kyseliny fluoroctove ; Anilid kyseliny fluoroctove [Czech] ; BRN 2085851 ; TL 1312 ; Acetamide, 2-fluoro-N-phenyl- (9CI) ; Acetanilide, 2-fluoro- . The product's classification codes are agricultural chemical, drug / therapeutic agent, experimental pesticide and insecticide.

Fluoroacetanilide is used as pesticides. It is highly toxic. It will produce toxic fluoride and nitrogen oxide gas when heating. So the storage environment should be ventilate, low-temperature and dry. Keep Fluoroacetanilide separate from raw materials of food. It is poisonous by ingestion and intraperitoneal routes. And Fluoroacetanilide is moderately toxic by inhalation. When heated to decomposition it emits very toxic fumes of F− and NOx. The following is the toxicity data which has been texted.
