DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 25 (Benzene, Its Derivatives, and Condensed Benzenoid Compounds) Section cross-reference(s): 29, 35 With poly(Ph ethers) polymers as carrier, a new poly(Ph ethers)-linked titanocene dichloride complex was synthesized by a one-pot method. The product was identified by elemental and spectral analyses. It was found that the isomerizations of allyl benzenes are catalyzed by the complex. The effects of different conditions on the reaction were discussed. It was shown by ESR spectra that the titano-hydrogen deriv. of the polymer-metallic complex showed a position sepd. effect. It exists mainly in the single mol. form. .
