High efficiency red phosphorescent OLED using a novel emitting host material. DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 73 (Optical, Electron, and Mass Spectroscopy and Other Related Properties) High-efficiency red phosphorescent org.Several reagents such as 343978-79-0 is used here. light-emitting devices employing a novel large energy-gap and thermally stable emitting host are reported. With btp2Ir(acac) as the red phosphorescent dopant, a max. external quantum efficiency of 10%, max. power efficiency of 4.5 lm/W, and max. luminance of 7100 cd/m2 are achieved. The results show substantial improvement over those of the red phosphorescent devices using conventional hosts. .
