AcONa and thermal or alk. cyclization of the resulting 4-RC6H4N:NZNHN:C(CN)CONHCO2Et. These dyes have an affinity for cellulose, proteins, and nucleic acids, and have coccidiostatic activity. Thus, 4-PhN:NC6H4NH2.HCl was diazotized and coupled with II in aq. AcONa to give a hydrozone which was refluxed in Decalin for 6 h to give 80. 3457-98-5 and 106060-61-1 are just another two chemicals used in this study.1% I (R = H, Z = p-C6H4). .
