NH3 soln. and dild. with 153 parts water to give a 30% solids soln. A polymer [63322-65-6] emulsion [40% solids; 30 parts, based on resins; obtained by emulsion polymn. of a mixt. of Me methacrylate 50.0, Et acrylate 45.0, N-methylolacrylamide 2.5, fumaric acid 2.5 (NH4)2S2O8 (20% soln.) 2.5, NaHSO3 (10% soln.) 2.5, anionic surfactant (20% soln.) 15.0, nonionic surfactant (20% soln.) 15.0, water 113.0, and aq. ammonia 2.0 parts] was mixed with 70 parts (based on resins) of the neutralized aq. resin soln., applied to a corrugated paper board, and dried 2-4 min at 130.degree. to improve the ring crush compressive strength from 28.95 to 59.45 kg and the bursting strength from 2.69 to 4.61 kg/cm2.
