In comparison, under the same conditions Zn diisobutyl dithiophosphate [4563-55-7] and Zn diisobutyl dithiocarbamate [36190-62-2] (antioxidants used in lubricating oils) start to decomp. at 170° and 200°, resp. Thus, compds. I and II could find application as lubricating oil additives.
