The urine was collected for 3 days, combined, and examd. for the metabolites cyclopentylmethylamine [6053-81-2] and cyclopentylmethanol [3637-61-4]. The percent conversion to these metabolites was 0.077 and 0.0102, resp. The av. excretion of unmetabolized sulfamate was 15.4%. Na cyclopentylsulfamate [20504-34-1] was fed to rats over 9 days, and an anal. was carried out for the metabolites cyclopentylamine [1003-03-8], cyclopentanone [120-92-3], and cyclopentanol [96-41-3]. A decrease in the level of metabolites occurred after the 1st 3 days.
