Ten urinary metabolites were detected and identified after oral administration. Major metabolites were 3-methyl-s-triazolo[3,4-a]phthalazine [20062-41-3] and 1-[s-triazolo[3,4-a]phthalazine-3-carboxy)-.beta.-D-glucopyranosiduroni c acid [54687-68-2]. Comparison of the metabolic pattern obtained in spontaneously hypertensive rat and normotensive Wistar-strain rat was also discussed. But no significant difference was obsd. for the time course of biotransformation rate between them. .
