The residue was hydrolyzed with HCl-EtOH and the hydrolyzate extd. with EtOAc and the org. phase concd. to remove the EtOAc. Vitexin [3681-93-4] and isovitexin [38953-85-4] were isolated from the above hydrolyzate. .
