Plasma is deproteinized with MeOH and the supernatant is then injected directly into the system. With a short precolumn (5 ′ 3 mm internal diam.), which is replaced after 25-40 injections of sample, 420 plasma samples could be analyzed on one anal. column. The detection limit in plasma is 0.30 mmol/L (89 ng/mL) and the method can be used in pharmacokinetic studies.
