It was enhanced by 9.alpha.-fluorocortisol acetate [514-36-3]. Verapamil and D-600 protected the animals from the potentiating effect of 9.alpha.-fluorocortisol, indicating that Ca2+ are essential for the necrosis-potentiating effect.

For drotaverin and I, the amts. of the dissolving substance decreased in equal proportions with the surfactant concns. in contrast to results obsd. with the rest of the tested drugs.
